SidneyAks
I purchased a 2017 edge sport yesterday. The original owner had the factory dvd-headrests put in it, which might be nice if I had kids and might be nicer if I weren't worried about someone breaking a window and just yoinking them entirely (I work in that part of town). The car came with the originals and I'll just pack away the fancy ones until kids are an issue. I've been doing some reading and for other years people talk about taking off the seat back in order to access the power wire; I assume there's a zipper or Velcro or something, but I'm just completely missing it I guess. Any idea on how to get into the wiring?
omar302
See attached files (with or without cooled seats. I don't think you'd have to remove the complete cover to access the wire. enigma-2
On my 09, you grasp the seat back cover and pull out near the bottom. This pops loose the friction fit pins. Then once to bottom is pulled out, slide the cover up to release the internal catches.
