Cebj
So on the 2015 base model Edge SE headlights, is it normal for the low beams to be the same brightness as the daytime running lights? I have noticed since purchase that the low beams are inadequate, but now I have noticed, when I have the headlights on automatic, as I pull into the garage, there is absolutely no change from the brightness of the DRL’s and when the low beams allegedly turn on. The only way I can tell they even come on per se is because the dash lights turn on. Edited March 16, 2021 by Cebj
Perblue
Yes this is typical in vehicles that use the same light for drl as the low beam. It just doesn't turn on your dash and tail lights in drl mode. You are likely needing to replace your bulbs. Any halogen whether it's a standard halogen bulb or HIDs dim over time.
