HTXCisco
I've hit 131,201 miles and need to replace all mounts but need to decide on whether to go with aftermarket from O'Relly, AutoZone, Advance, etc. or to go with Motorcraft from the dealership. Anyone have experience with aftermarket mounts?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
don't bother with aftermarket. many have tried and lived to regret it. stick with motorcraft. get them from an online dealership to save money. input your VIN to get exact parts for your vehicle.
enigma-2
I had a motor mount installed years ago. After i got the car, drove twi miles and went right back to the mechanic. He said he used NAPA. It was horrible. Heavy vibration and loud. I mean really loud. Made him change the mount to Motorcraft. Smooth and quiet. DON'T GO AFTERMARKET with motor mounts.
HTXCisco
Thanks for the feedback guys, based on what I had seen online the general consensus was to avoid aftermarket and to stick with Motorcraft. Glad I got confirmation. Are there specific online dealerships that are recommended?
