skull3549
Hello all, I just have a question on the headlights for the 2017 Edge Titanium. I have halogen bulbs and cannot see good at night or early morning. I have replaced the bulbs probably about 4 times now and still cannot see any difference. I also have tried LED replacements and still have the same problem ( cannot see at night ). I was wondering if any of you have had the same issue and if so are there any alternatives for this problem? I have been on a few websites such as, Consumer Reports, Carcomplaints.com, and IIHS.org where they rate the Edge headlights as POOR. Is there anything I can do to get to see better at night? I have installed the Phillips Extreme Vision and the Sylvania silverstar ultra but still end up with the same problem. Any help would be appreciated. Not doubting that you have a problem with your headlights, but I've not seen many reports here. I'm not sure if your 2017 Titanium has the HID's like my 2017 Sport, but can assure you that both my high and low beams are quite acceptable. Retrofit LED's aren't usually good in housings that weren't designed for that. If you don't have HID's you could try that, although quite pricey to upgrade. skull3549
Thanks 1004ron for getting back, I have the halogens in it. When I went onto carcomplaints.com and looked up my edge I found that there were many complaints about this and I was surprised to see that the IIHS website rated them as poor. I am bringing the car into the dealer thursday to see if they can suggest anything. And we will see what comes from it

enigma-2
I found switching to Phillips X-tremeVision bulbs was the best choice for halagen lights. These fit my car (for brights), believe you use a different bulb. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01C5QY7DW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_Ik86FbWFWPCC1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=
skull3549
Yes I have already tried those bulbs, It looks like the only thing is HID's, but I don't know if I want to go that route yet. Thanks
skull3549
Hey All, Update !! I installed HID's over the weekend, purchased from XenonPro. Great price and they were not to hard to install they are 5000K, 55 watt alpine white with the warning cancellars. They do the trick very nicely and a lot brighter then halogens. the problem I have is that I have a 2017 Edge Titanium with remote start and auto headlights. When I use the remote start and let the car warm up for a bit and then get in and hit the pushbutton start, the lights go on for a second and then turn off. I have to start the car manually and then they will stay on for the most part. I just tried something this morning, while the car was off I turned on the lights manually and then waited for them to warm up ( about 10 seconds ) then I hit the remote start and got in the car and pressed the button to turn everything on and the lights stayed on. I check that all weather paks are tight and they are. I just don't know what could be the problem. Do you have any suggestions? Or did anyone have this kind of problem? I don't get any error messages so I'm just wondering. Thanks in advance. And I hope all ahd a Happy New Year...
