Smitty_NY
I have installed an aftermarket Android head-unit. I’ve purchased the SSFD11 Radio Adapter for installation in my 2007 Ford Edge. This radio adapter retains steering wheel controller features well. However, I’ve lost use of my rear sub-woofer. Does the radio adapter’s wiring need to be reconfigured to work with Ford’s stock audio speakers, or do I need to purchase an amplifier for the sub-woofer to play? This adapter is suppose to offer complete plug-n-play feasibility. Yes, in the product description it says, "Retains factory-installed amplified audio system" Edited December 13, 2020 by Smitty_NY
2FAST4U
If I were you, I'd ask the people who sell the adapter why the sub-woofer doesn't work... or how to make it work ... Good luck, Claude.
