MPG101
When entering my code the doors do not unlock. I replaced the Securicode Pad (is wired to the car) and checked 18 and 20 fuses. No corrosion found on any electrical connection. When I try tried 3, 5, 7 and 9 on the keypad I hear a small click which appears to come from the rear doors; does not unlock. Several months ago I replaced the FOB keys with aftermarket (Ford OEM number stamp is inside) keys. Although I reprogrammed them without any problem, just recently on occasion my car does not recognize the FOB key. I physically need to place the FOB in my hand and the car starts. FYI both FOB have new batteries. I don’t know if the Securicode Pad and the FOB are related somehow. At a loss where to go next.
