1Stringy
I just picked up my new to me 2019 Edge ST and my wife has a 2017 Flex. Rather than carry around 2 fobs or leave one home and be potentially without when needed. has anyone tried to program 1 fob to 2 vehicles? my rationale.... the fobs are only communicating in one direction, to the vehicle. So once the vehicle is programmed to work with a fob, it shouldn’t be any issue for it to be programmed to a second vehicle? No? Anyone see anything wrong with my rationale or point to anything that could go wrong?
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
ask Jeff Leeper at https://www.fxbgkeys.com/ . I know he has "universal" fobs that can be programmed to different vehicles, but IDK about multiple vehicles on the same fob. My remote start tho has 2 vehicle capability, so it is quite possible. Cannot be done with the stock remotes. 1
