jessepatty
The interior lighting quit working a couple weeks ago when I open the doors or push the interior light button on the headlamp switch. I checked all the fuses including the interior lighting fuse and they are all good. Every fuse in both fuse boxes are good. Ironically, The Puddle lights have always worked in conjunction with the interior lights and they still work fine. I can also manually turn the inside lights on by pressing the light itself so I know the circuit is good. But they don't activate when any door is opened or when I push the inside light button on the headlamp switch... I replaced the headlamp switch thinking it may have failed but the new switch didn't fix it. I heard that this is a common problem for the MKX and Edge but I cannot find anything on fixing it online. Would anyone on here have experience with this issue? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Edited November 22, 2020 by jessepatty
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
The HVAC module controls the ambient lighting as well, check to make sure the connections and pins are in good working order. Could be you need to update sync to the latest revision, if you have sync. 3.11, IIRC.
enigma-2
The interior lighting is controlled through the smart junction box in the 2009 and 2010. Don't think its changed in the 11. Does the sunvisors lights and door opener work?
