Scarrz
100,000 miles on Gingie Did some PM on it today... -- Spark plugs (SP520A) and coil boots (WR-6135), thermostat (RT1228) and o-ring seal (RG571), filters, and cooling fan (tow package RF269). Spark plugs always take some time to get to the back 3 plugs. I noticed the boots were whitish at the tip, glad I'm replacing them. DONE -- Thermostat and o-ring is super easy to replace, about 10 minutes (would be 15min if I had to remove the intake filter assembly). DONE -- cabin and engine filter DONE -- Cooling fan assembly. I bought this Edge used, so no idea what was done to it. Since I now live in the south (a lot hotter), figured better pm this cooling fan before it dies (also why thermostat replacement). It comes out and goes back in fairly easy. When I compared the old and new, there is a difference. The old one is not the one for a towing Edge. It is now. DONE. -- Radiator flush. enigma-2
Wow..! You been busy. I need a beer just to get through reading your post 🙂 Curious. Did you have to pull the intake manifold to change the back 3 plugs? How long did it take? Did you replace the fan assy with Motorcraft or aftermarket?
