Mike716
Hey guys I’m new to the forum and figured there is not better place to ask this question. I currently have a 2007 Ford Edge that has a horrible ticking noise and low oil pressure light at idle. The noise is constant and gets faster as rpm increases. I have to opportunity to get a free 3.7l with low miles out of a wrecked 2009 Lincoln MKS. The motors look identical, can I swap this with no ecu issues or programming or sensor problems? WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Might be a Ti-VCT, which would not be a dropin. You can look for Mazda CX9 3.7 engines of similar vintage which are VCT and would be dropin.
