TroyH
Thank you for the video. I'm a new owner of a 2021 Edge Titanium and started looking for everything. The top fuse panel was easy to get to and I removed the layer to what I thought was the lower fuse box. I didn't know it was upside down, opposite the upper. I did fund a bunch of connectors with in line fuses down on the next layer. I'll look again for the actual lower fuses. Now, slightly different topic. Does anyone have a clue how to get at the under dash fuse panel? I can see it but can only barely touch it with a couple fingertips. Is there a path to it or something else that needs to be taken off to get access to it? They built a pretty good wall around it. I'm wanting to put in a dash cam but wasn't too scope out where things need to go veggie starting the installation. I can start a new thread of it best. MKX ONTARIO
I just viewed gary_minnesota's video on accessing the lower compartment fuse panel. It is an excellent video and solved the .mystery. QUESTION: I want to only remove the fuse for the lift gate to reset it. But it looks like accessing the lower panel will kill the power to the whole panel by first removing the 2 large connectors. Should the battery be disconnected first? If yes than that will reprogram everything whichI don't want to do.
Haz
Welcome to the Forum @MKX ONTARIO! If you prefer, you can remove the Rear Gate Trunk Module (RGTM) power by accessing the RGTM and removing Connector C4174A from the RGTM for 20 seconds, and then reinsert Connector C4174A to fulfill the Power Liftgate Initialization procedure. Haz
@MKX ONTARIO: If you prefer to not disconnect the Rear Gate Trunk Module (RGTM) connector C4174A, you could disconnect Battery Junction Box (BJB) connector C1035B, which carries Fuse F76-protected power to the RGTM, and would limit any de-powering affect to the yellow-highlighted circuits/components shown below...
