Dylan2012edge
Hey so I have a 2012 Ford Edge, it’s the 3.5 v6 and it’s awd. So I’ve been having this issue where it’s slamming into a Lower gear. So I’ll be cruising in 6th year and be approaching a light or stop sign and as a stop the car will only drop into 4th gear and not 1st gear like it should. Then when I give it the slightest bit of gas it’s slamming into 1st gear and jerks you back into your seat quite violently. Is this a small issue or is a major one. Has anyone else had the same issues. If so please let me know
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
May need a valve body modification/PCM update, even tho it falls outside the MYs in this TSB. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Dr1SKbRyBXRfS53MTQvsZixk_NWtaApG/view?usp=sharing
dolsen
This was a common issue in some of the first build 10R80 F-150's, which was found to be low transmission fluid. Not to say this is the issue, but I think checking the fluid level would be a good, non-invasive place to start that could potentially save a lot of time.
