BarTaylor
I have a 2016 Edge Titanium AWD 2.0L (01/2016). The AC blower is making an awful rumble when turned on. I want to pull the blower and see what might be causing it (leaf, debris, etc.), but I cannot get the glove box off to reach the blower motor. How do I get the box off? There are two metal pins I can see, but cannot see how to get them out. Any ideas? There doesn't seem to be any youtube video showing how to get this particular glove box off. omar302
It doesn't seem you need to remove the glove box. See the attached procedure. Blower Motor R and I.pdf
lildisco
Pretty easy to get in there. There's 2 plastic rubber retainer clips on each side of the glove box. Push them together & remove the 'shock' mount on the passenger side & that'll get you to the cabin air filter that probably should be changed if you haven't done it. A leaf or something might have worked its way down past the cabin air filter.
