clarenovette
When I shut the engine down the radio would play till I opened the door. No I get a notice saying" Powering Down to save the Battery" Does this indicate that I have a low voltage output from the battery. Car starts great. Gadgetjq
That 'is' indeed an indication your battery might be ready to fail or it could be as simple as a corroded cable connection. I'd suggest you head to an auto supply store for a free load test, especially if your battery is four years old or older. While some owners manage to get a little more out of them, three to four years seems pretty typical these days.
akirby
If it’s more than 3 years old chances are it’s toast and should just be replaced anyway. You might be able to nurse it for another 6 months but once they start to go bad they never fully recover. Be aware the old style load testers used by some shops don’t work on these new vehicles. Make sure they’re testing the CCAs compared to the battery spec.
Gmandude
This was covered in another post but my solution was an larger battery and eventually an AGM from a good company. Needed for the sync 3 connection from what I hear. If you go in and out the sound, sync, and other things will cycle every time.
