ajhart1000
I have a 2019 Ford Edge Titanium with just over 3,000 miles. My problem is when the engine starts back up from auto Start/Stop, 95% of the time, there is a real harsh feeling when the engine restarts. It feels like the transmission is jerking the car. Is anyone else experiencing this? I had an Escape before this and it never had this much jerkiness to the restart of the engine. It has done this almost from the beginning. Have not gone to the service department yet as I have the harsh shifting at low speed also now. It started about 1500 miles ago. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue before I go. Thanks, Edited April 25, 2020 by ajhart1000
marcimpala
Hi, in my 2019 EDGE SEL, the restart after stop/start is quite smooth, so I would guess there is an issue with your Titanium. It hopefully is nothing more than a software adjustment or similar, but you should definitely take it in for service. It's all covered anyway at least. Sage
I have a 19 ST, and restarts pretty smooth, let the dealer have a look.
