Dylan2012edge
Hey how’s it’s going. I have a 2012 Ford Edge Sel AWD. It’s the v6. So I’m planning on doing the front and rear brakes on the car. Does anyone know the torque specs for the brakes. Caliper guide pin torque specs abs caliper bracket torque specs. Also side note. Where should I jack up the car from and put the jack stands for the front and rear
1004ron
I cant help with the torque values as I don't use one for this job. In the last picture you'll see the Loctite thread lock stick. I use a jack with a weld/bead/seam protector in the location seen in the attached photo and then position the jack stands, also with protectors, on the locations marked on the beads as the standard jacking points. The position that I have the floor jack lifts the front and rear evenly - center of gravity. Edited April 3, 2020 by 1004ron
