PrinzII
Does anyone's Edge dip and rise in RPM while idling and with the A/C on? Lately, ours is doing that and it cut off on us twice yesterday.
Grey
RPMs will fluctuate as the compressor cycles on and off. If by "cuts off" you mean the engine dies and must be restarted, it is learning and resetting the idle speed (the computer is adjusting for temp, fuel, etc.) The computer is looking for optimum fuel economy and sometimes has to richen up the fuel mixture to avoid stalling. I wouldn't worry about it. This can happen when new or when coming off a long trip.
PrinzII
However, when the Edge was new, the RPM fluctuations were non-existent.
PrinzII
After two visits to the dealership, it was found to be a bad throttle body. They said there was a TSB for it. Does anyone have the info on it?
