Parking brake limited function

Any reason to not suspect the wiring that goes to that specific side, like has been the case with most of the above posters to this thread? I assume that if you find an issue you can temporarily patch it but getting a new one and watching how it is routed seems to be the way to go.

I would still suspect the harnesses that go to the EPB motors.  The wiring doesn't always break in a visible way, from the checks I performed on mine, they were broken within the wire jacket and cracked within the protective loom.  They can make and break the connection intermittently since the break within the wire jacket, the wiring is still very close together and can reconnect from simply being bent slightly in the right direction.  This type of break can also be the cause of a fault coming and going at random.  Not that the wiring couldn't be failed within the main harness in the vehicle, its just not likely.  I've also seen this type of failure in the front camera harness.
