CVCashmere
Since I have the Ford front license plate bracket, has anyone mounted a frame over the license plate and bracket. Please post pictures if you have them. Thanks CVCashmere
Xtra
Several of us have drilled out the rivets holding the bracket and then plugged the holes .There are plugs that have matching paint(expensive) or you can just use black plugs from Pep Boys ( budget ). https://www.bumperplugs.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=1_11 I just used the black ones. gthims
I drilled out the rivets on my ST. Then got some black plastic plugs from Lowes, $ 1.12 for a package of two and a paint touch up pen from my Ford dealer for about $ 15. I keep a touch up pen around for stone chips anyway.
CVCashmere
Update: Since I have to use a front plate and the factory bracket was already mounted on my ST, I bought a black metal frame to cover the top front of the bracket where you slip the plate under to hold it (you use 2 screws on the bottom). Here it looks better as the bracket and cover frame blend together to hide the edges of the license plate. I have enclosed the brand i bought from Advance Auto.
