OB1KINOBE
Just had the roof tinted and not really happy with the final outcome. Wanted to see if anyone else has had it done. Small detail, but my 2019 F150 glass roof was done also and doesn’t have this problem. 99.8% coverage and will do the job, company said they don’t have a cut out for this... thanks for any input. lildisco
Had ours done in our 2016 within a few months of ownership. It wasn't laser cut or anything, the guy cut it himself & applied it in 2 different sections. I can't remember the name of the product used, but it was a bigger name brand company. Sounds like the place you went to uses more of a computer system. I'd maybe find an 'old school' tinter who can free hand what can be done. Or maybe a different computer system place that can take measurements & make something that can give you more coverage to your liking. We went with 5% because usually when you want the sunshade open, it's very sunny.
omar302
I had 3M Crystalline installed and it was manually cut. They had the big rolls that are bigger than the glass and so it covers it completely.
