cxxxv
I know there is a lot of discussion on this. However, there doesn't seem to be a definitive answer. I have tried every thing I could find. (Reset SYNC, test SD card, checked wiring). I am reluctant to spend $150 from Ford unless there is some confirmation that this will solve the issue. If I buy one and the problem persists will the dealer do something about it.
onyxbfly
Are the contacts on the card dirty? Try gently cleaning them with a pencil eraser. I would also check for any DTCs/ codes to see if the problem isn't an obvious one.

jmr061
Do your usb ports function? Try a USB with some music on it. Your media bay could be bad.
