Smokey1757
My puddle lights quit working for no known reason. The fuse is hot but no power to the lights. Is there a relay or something that would stop the fire? HELP
Gadgetjq
Suggestion: Puddle lights are simple to remove from the mirror. Pull one out and test it with a direct connection to a power source (car battery, power supply, 9v battery). It's possible both of your lights have simply burned out and a direct test is a good way to find out. Replacements are inexpensive with LEDs as low as $10 on eBay. Cheers! Smokey1757
Yes I hot wired them and they both work fine. Just no power between fuse and lights. The fuse is hot on both sides. I put in a new fuse anyway and it is hot on both sides
enigma-2
In looking at the 2009 service manual (I think we can assume that the 07 is the same), the power is supplied through fune #10 (in the smart junction box) and then directly to both puddle lamps. Assuming that you have not been messing with the wiring, it's either the fuse (try a different one known to be good) or the smart junction box (try a reset by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes).
