JimmyKumbaya
One of us (!) left the dashcam on while our Edge sat unused for two weeks. In that amount of time, the battery (less than a year old) drained completely, so completely that the instrument panel wouldn't light, couldn't move the gear shift out of park, etc. Dead dead dead. A jump starter just made the starter solenoid click, wouldn't crank. A long overnight charge resuscitated the battery, everything's worked fine for a few weeks now, EXCEPT: the A/C turns on automatically on engine start about 75% of the time, that's after I've made absolutely certain to turn it off before killing the engine. Is that as weird as it seems to me? Or am I so unaware that it's done it all its life and I just haven't noticed?? Thanks for any help, Jim
