TRYING2ADULT
I know the H&R springs are the go-to for lowering the edge sport, but has anyone tried anything else? You can find these on Ebay and Amazon for a pretty good price. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Godspeed-Project-Traction-S-Lowering-Spring-For-Ford-Edge-2015-2018/183664617826?fits=Year%3A2015|Model%3AEdge|Submodel%3ASport|Engine+-+Liter_Display%3A2.7L|Make%3AFord|Trim%3ASport+Sport+Utility+4-Door|Engine%3A2.7L+164Cu.+In.+V6+GAS+DOHC+Turbocharged&epid=11023244714&hash=item2ac343a962:g:lEAAAOSwTEZcVHk4
Xtra
I noticed that the Godspeed springs state a drop of 1.2" Front and 1.6" Rear this is the same as the H&R. My actual drop with the H&R springs was 1.375" Front and 1.75" rear. Just a bit more than advertised . Here you can see they look almost identical with the same # of coils arranged in the same way. The GS are listed at $198 and the H&R are $241. The H&R springs are a proven item. Several people here have them for years with no sagging and nothing but praise for them , the GS springs are an unknown. As I am not much of a gambler the $43 difference for me is not worth taking a chance. Be brave and take the leap, be the first here with them and give a report. Who knows you might save some bucks and end up with something great.. Edited June 19, 2019 by Xtra
TRYING2ADULT
Xtra you nailed just about everything I had in my head. I'm not one for going the cheap-er route but I do like having options.
