dawastemaster
We've had an issue with the wipers running then stopping at the A pillars. They sit for several seconds, then the driver wiper will make a swipe, stop at the A pillar, and then both start working again. No rhyme nor reason to this. Don't seem to matter if it was a heavy rain or sprinkle. Anyone familiar with this issue?
enigma-2
I know that on some Ford vehicles you can park the wipers in the up position, called the maintenance position, by going into accessory position, then off, then pulling the stalk down for a couple of seconds. Its purpose is to facilitate changing blades. Kind of sounds like your car is doing this by accident. If so, I'd suspect the wiper stalk (several here have had problems with there's, for others reasons.)
