mrmikesdeuce
If any of you folks are DIY'ers, and use Mobil 1 like myself, listen up. Mobil 1 has a great rebate going on right now. They usually do it every year, and I've been getting rebates for the last four years. Just look for Mobil 1 rebate on your computer to get the details. 1004ron
I've also been getting the rebate for a few years now, and have also received the rebate for oil bought from retailers other than what Mobil list, and the past two years I've been buying at Costco when the 6 pack cartons go on sale, which is my preferred package seeing as our engines use 6 quarts. The latest is the rebate arriving in the form of a printable check, which I then deposit using the banking app on my phone. I have an alert set on https://slickdeals.net which prompts me each year to watch for when Costco puts this oil on sale, and then buy my years supply. https://slickdeals.net/f/13019146-costco-mobil-1-full-synthetic-6-quart-packs-16-69-after-rebate?attrsrc=Test%3AHideExpiredSearch%3AControl&src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1 Costco currently has the 6 quart packs of Mobil 1 marked down $10, this can be combined with the current Mobil 1 rebate of $12 and get you 6 quarts at $2.78/quart. While this is a bit more per quart than buying jugs its still a great deal for people who prefer individual quarts over jugs. $38.69 per 6qt pack -$10 Costco discount -$12 Mobil 1 rebate = $16.69 or $2.78 per quart Limit of 5 per household https://mobiloil.com/en/promotion/mobil-promotions/mobil-1-rebate-2019 Edited June 8, 2019 by 1004ron
Little General
Be careful and check what you are buying. I don’t deal with Costco but I was buying from Sam’s Club. I checked the date on the Mobil one bottle and found I was buying 6 yr old oil. I checked later at the store and still they were selling old oil. I can’t remember exactly but I don’t think it was rated for newer turbo engines. I go to Ford now and buy Ford fully synthetic for a tad less than $6 a quart and if you buy filters not in a box but just wrapped in plastic they are around $4. I guess bulk filter is how they are listed. I buy for a 2013 F150 ecoboost , 2016 F350 6.2 and a 2020 Ford Edge St. so I buy a lot when I go.
