veloci1 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 I have about 20000 miles on my 2007 Edge. my rear shocks are gone. i can see the marks on the rear tires showing a shock issue. will the dealer replace the shocks and tires under warranty? i do not tow or abuse the Edge. it is my daily driver and 80% of the miles are freeway miles. let me know. druck52 Posted July 14, 2008 Report Share Posted July 14, 2008 shocks are covered, but are you sure that the marks on your tires are due to the shocks and not lack of rotation or out of balance or alignment? none of those issues would be covered. Here is a post I started unti I found this one: My link The dealer stated it was covered under the extended warranty but the warrany company said only struts are, not shocks. I can't believe that the quality is so poor to go bad so soon. I have double the mileage and 20 years old on my Corvette but still have the original shocks.
