Does anyone know how to retrieve... Hi breen24. :D Yes. Your local Lincoln-Mercury or Ford Dealer can retrieve the code for you. Also, other Forum members have provided anecdotal evidence that the code may be located in several places: On a sticker located on or near the PCM. On a sticker in or near the passenger compartment fuse box, and other places. I do not know if this is in fact true, but if it is, hopefully another member will confirm that information for you. Hi neisy. :D The Edge and MKX are manufactured on the same assembly line, so odds are yes, it should be there. Only way to find out for sure is to check. Let us know. I always thought you had to hook up a laptop to it and pull the code that way - good to know it's not like reprogramming a key or anything like that.
