snowtire
Just did my first oil change at 2,000 miles and noticed transmission fluid leaking from the front of the transmission. Has anyone else had this problem?
vmaxbaby
This can't be good...I just sit hear and shake my head how R&D didn't find these issues. Are they trying to get a car to market fast and just don't have the time to test things 100%.
flymore
Assume you have a 2019? What engine? My 2018 3.5L AWD is not doing that. That's not good, take it to the dealer ASAP.

JAYQD
It may be related to SSM 47682, which reads: "Some 2019 Focus/Transit Connect/Edge/Nautilus vehicles equipped with 8F35 transmission may exhibit an appearance of a fluid leak or weep from transmission axle shaft seal. This condition may be caused by excessive internal seal (dark brown)..."

Nick Halstead
different transmission, but my 15 Sport had a leak that took 7 months to diagnose as a cracked transmission housing. I'd get it looked at as soon as possible and keep an eye on it, even after they say they "fixed" it. Mine was supposedly fixed 3 times. 4th time was a new housing after they finally found the crack, dunno what they "fixed" the previous 3 times. snowtire
They kept my ST for four days, because they had to order the plastic transmission cover and gasket . I'll check for leaks on the next oil change
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Ford is having real problems with their seals since the introduction of Gen 2. They need to put some funds into engineering these better.
