Muff1231 Posted March 14, 2019 Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 (edited) Hey guys in need of some help before I purchase some wheels, a guy has a set of 22Inch sport wheels off a 2013, and the wheel hub was bore out by the previous owner to fit an older Ford Edge, he has them super cheap and was wondering if this will effect anything? I’m buying for my 2013 SEL Edge.. are these worth buying? And will I run into any fitment issues or ride issues! Here’s a pic of the wheel hub! Thanks. Muff1231 Posted March 14, 2019 Author Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 Yeah the wheel hub was bored out bigger than my vehicle, my 2013 is 63mm and the guy had them bore out to fit his 2009 and that’s 70mm, just was curious, if the wheel hub is larger than my car will I have any ride issues? 2nd Edge Posted March 14, 2019 Report Share Posted March 14, 2019 the wheels on the edge are LUG centric vice hub centric so as long as you torque down the lug nuts to proper specs they should work out, as in the lug nuts will center the wheel in the studs. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A lot of aftermarket wheels with universal fit will come with rings for the more common hub sizes. Without it you are relying solely on the lug nuts to center the wheel and will be a bit more difficult to install/remove them.
