If any of you are planning or already have one we do offer engine and trans tune for the 19 Ranger. This is carb legal in all 50 states as well. If you have any questions please message me back or call me at 313-561-5500 my name is Jake. https://www.livernoismotorsports.com/shop Edited March 4, 2019 by Livernois Motorsports
handfiler
Nice! Maybe I should reconsider the Edge ST and get a Ranger ?
akirby
Did you start with the Focus RS or Mustang tune? I've heard the engine is more closely related to the Focus RS but in the Ranger it's North-South like the Mustang.
Livernois Motorsports
We started from scratch as the trans is different then our RS and mustang tunes. But in the end we were really happy with outcome. Now we did not see as big as a gain as the mustang but it also had higher numbers out the factory.
01Cobra
How much power can the trans handle? Thing was corked up from the factory!

It's the same transmission that the F-150's and Mustangs have. Edited March 5, 2019 by handfiler
Livernois Motorsports
Well we haven't tested the limit in the ranger yet but our 10 speed mustang holds over 700hp to the ground all day and we are getting ready to push it over 800 now that we put our built engine in it.
