bobyellow
What goes in this very nice threaded hole? Something missing? Was refilling the washer fluid and noticed it. Edge ST (401A and cold weather not that probably matters)
ONEDGE16
I've got the same thing on my ST. Picture not as focused but if you zoom in, you can see it
Nick Halstead
probably from factory, nothing is missing, even the pdf files have it as empty
diesel97
Probably screw in an eye bolt for an engine hoist
Waldo
If you look around any new car you're going to find dozens of unused holes and plugs. It's much cheaper to make one part for all markets and versions than to try to make each one unique. That hole could be used for an option you don't have, something on the 2.0L version of the Edge, maybe something on a Continental that uses the same bracket, maybe some part that's needed in China or Europe. Makes total sense! Thanks
