Zeus1
I can't seem to find any information on this. Google is just turning up rear view mirror repair for a basic (single post) mirror. I have a 2017 Edge Sport that had been sitting in cold weather (0' F) for 2 nights, I found the mirror/lane-sensing/high-beam camera assembly hanging as shown this morning. The vehicle only has ~1500 miles on it so safe to say I was surprised. It doesn't look like anything "broke", all plastic is intact and the integrity of the bracket seems fine. Any idea how to get this thing back on without taking it in to the dealer? Thanks.
jmr061
Pic is taking it off....putting it on is reverse. You will need to take off the trim pieces and should disconnect the electrical connectors. Then put it all back on after the mirror is back in place. onyxbfly
She's under warranty let the dealership sort that out. That debacle needs to be documented. Edited February 3, 2019 by onyxbfly
