tonyc67
2011 Ford Edge Limited with HID headlamps. The left one has had a little crack for quite some time and always had some condensation in it. Well started going to car wash a short time ago and that left side stopped working. Not sure if it was related but assumed it was. I tried replacing bulb which didn't help. I pulled the ballast and some water came pouring out so I then assumed it might be fried or something so I ordered a new ballast and used lens. So.... Yesterday replaced everything and still nothing. Swapped everything new and old with right side and all parts work. Checked ALL fuses seeing each side has multiple fuses and still nothing! Any ideas???? vega
Are you using a common harness with a relay? If not, I would plug in the original halogen bulb to test the circuit. I always use a relay that taps the battery power directly on all of mine.
tonyc67
Not sure what you are asking Vega? This is a factory setup HID system. I checked original bulb in other side and it does work.
fishx65
Sounds like it has to be in the wiring. I'd grab a multi-meter and start doing some investigating.
