2013EDG
I have a 2013 Ford Edge limited. The back drivers door will not unlock. Not with the key fob or using the lock unlock on any door inside the vehicle. All others work fine. What could be the problem? Ideas? ben senise
it could be a number of things. it could be the actuator (motor) has died. The wiring to it may be disconnected. the linkage could be broken. can you hear the actuator working when you put your ear on the door? if yes, then it's the linkage. if no, it's one of the first two things all of these will require you to take off the door panel and have a look. it's not that tough of a job if you're used to working on cars. otherwise any mechanic should be able to do it. Does the passenger lock button work? If so it’s probably the switch. If not How old is your battery? Batteries only last 3-4 years typically and a weak battery can seem to work fine but cause strange problems. If it’s not the battery then try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes.

Does it lock/unlock with the FOB? (Assuming you were talking about the interior lock/unlock switches). If you 'were' talking about the FOB, try the interior switches. Jenna
I have a 2011 Ford edge limited awd. My front driver and passenger door keep getting stuck locked and I can only open them from the inside of the car. Any advice on how to fix this. I got a car wash 2 days ago and now this problem has started.
ebank
The Car should have remote start, try starting the vehicle remotely and then trying the locks. Also try operating the locks with the key fob from INSIDE the car with the doors shut. Edited December 17, 2021 by ebank

enigma-2
Probably water related. But could be many things. As two doors are involved, probably grounding related. Try checking the wire bundle at both door jambs. These flex and it may be possible that one or more may have frayed causing a ground from water from the car wash.
