Just ordered my Titanium and already browsing the user manual and on-line reviews. I'm told it should arrive sometimes in January. My wife has been driving a 2017 Escape and we're very happy with it so far. So I guess we've officially become a part of the Ford family! Cheers and Happy Holidays to all! Easy Posted December 14, 2018 Author Report Share Posted December 14, 2018 Well, the Escape has a curb weight of about 1,700Kg, while the Edge is 4,100Kg. Same engine (2.0AWD Eco-boost) on both. Of course the Escape feels a lot more lively and nimble, but the Edge has a more spacious/luxurious interior. And yes, we're keeping both. However, the Edge felt considerably more sluggish than the Escape during the test drive. Nevertheless, for the reasons I've already mentioned in my previous post, I've decided to purchase the Edge.
