Chipster
I think this is going to take a while to get used to! https://www.autoblog.com/2018/12/04/2020-ford-explorer-interior-photos/#slide-7480015
onyxbfly
At first glance I'd say that it's fugly. I do like the the dash. If it is leather or faux leather, as long as it minimizes the glare and reflection I'm all for it!

Nick Halstead
that explorer interior is ugly, and extremely dated imo when you compare it to other companies setups
omar302
It seems to be Ford's new direction for interiors as it has resemblance to the 2019 Focus, in my opinion.
akirby
That is the production design for the Explorer but it's still a prototype so the colors and materials aren't necessarily what you'll see in production and a few things might change. We'll see the production version in Detroit next month.
Amerikaner83
Meh - I don't like it all that much - looks like the new Mazda interior, mixed with a bit of the Honda/hyundai/kia style of controls stacking. I don't know about the rotary dial shifter either - especially in a truck/SUV...
vega
Way too busy looking for me. I prefer simple curves and lines inside and out.
KennyE
Did they just staple that tablet to the dash?
Fingernip
I honestly like the recessed screens used in the edge so far. It blocks side glare and gives you a place to rest your hand while navigating the infotainment system. The whole floating screen thing just makes me think of the old pioneer aftermarket systems with the pop out screen that blocks the A/C vents. I like everything to look fully integrated with a smooth flow across the dash. I honestly love my 2019 interior. Reviews say its dated but I guess my style is also.
