cbford
This just started yesterday after my wife came back from cleaning the car and is draining the battery. The ignition seems to be on and when I enter the car the dashboard lights up, we do not recall seeing that happen before yesterday. After recharging the battery it is still dead after letting it sit for an hour. Help!!
jimbop99
Interior lights and the instrument cluster come on when entering the vehicle. It's possible the battery is on the way out.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
3 common things that typically drain a battery on 2011-14 vehicles: a) door ajar message/faulty switch b] shifter not in park message/faulty switch c) CD player on the fritz/faulty head unit Are any of the interior lights on after the doors are closed and locked? Any wiring disloged under the seats? Edited October 1, 2018 by WWWPerfA_ZN0W
rwf78155
My previous Edge Sport did the same......turned out to be a faulty shifter switch and was replaced by Ford at no cost due to a recall Edited October 2, 2018 by rwf78155
