longhorn
I'll be placing my order for a white cholcolate MKX this week and am leaning towards a light camel interior since I think it will stay a bit cooler in the summer months. However, I've noticed that the US Lincoln site does not show that the seats are trimmed with dark piping and the Canadian site does. I've visited a few Canadian dealerships but none have them have the light camel interior on their lot. For those of you who own a 2008 white MKX with light camel interior I'm curious what your seats look like? Perhaps Ford did a change mid-year? longhorn
thanks jcflorida. The Canadian site states shows that the "premium" leather is only available with the monochrome package or limited edition package which both have the two tone seats (charcoal black seats with light camel inserts) and contrasting piping. Is the upgraded leather noticably better? Both of those packages require the 20" rims which I was trying to avoid because the lower profile tire supposedly gives a firmer ride. I did have a chance to drive an EDGE with 20" rims and thought the ride was a bit stiffer but I am comparing that to my test drive of an MKX with 18's (was it due to the softer MKX suspension - I don't know). I wonder what tire size the majority of users choose?
