Snox801
Ok guys as the title says has anyone got an idea what these will run stock vs tuned? Im heading to the track Friday and hoping for low 14 sec. that would make me happy. Mine is awd so I can get off the line fast enough and I am tuned. Snox801
Ok update time. So I was only able to get a 14:802 with the edge tuned. Its a 2.0 awd with factory tires. I did mess up a bit and was busy with my RS and sorting that out so I had lots of wheels spin when I boosted to hard that is not and issue if I would have taken my time and lowered some air pressure out. So I launch a bit softer and that was the times I was able to get. With a bit of prep time on the car and a bit better shift point work I think I can get 14:5 as I was not having a good day.
MaX83_ZA
That is pretty darn fast for a 2.0 SUV!!!
037
Stock 2.7 on a good day runs 14.2, 14.0 if you are me. I would say cracking into 14s is impressive.
Snox801
I was very happy. Next time out Im gonna concentrate more on the edge than the car. Seems Im gear a bit tall on the big end so I may put my stock RS rims and tires on. That should really help out my times. I wasnt getting the shift perfect either. I need to click the paddle at 4800 to get it to shift at 5200. Thats were power drops off sharply.
cds71
Who did the tune on the 2.0? considering the stock numbers from the 2.7tt..... I would say a strong 14sec quarter mile is awesome for a 2.0 t.

Snox801
Sorry for the late reply, work got in the way good to see someone else on top of it. Gotta day the change in everyday driving is the best part. So much better. Its been on the car now for 32,000 and works great. Not crazy mileage yet but I gave it to my wife for Christmas this year so she does about 40,000 a year. Lol

Snox801
Ya tell me I thought I was bad I do about 80,000 a year for work. I travel all over the country for work. She is a stay at home mom and I about shit when I see it ever time. I ask how she even burns that much gas. Only car I own that doesnt rack up miles extremely fast is my RS cause it always at Livernois getting something done. Or fixed.
