NoDTMF
I've order the 3M protective tape the Ford has used. My 2011 escape had it on the rocker panels from the factory...still there today. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LYZJNWX/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=

You may want to get some PPF knifeless tape so you can do your cuts on the car without scratching the paint, or you can try cutting it ahead of time then matching it up
onyxbfly
Has anyone had any issues with the sensors? I'm at a loss to why Ford never decided to make a set for the sport. In my perspective they could have been added to one of the various packages that Ford offers when ordering an edge. They're leaving money on the table. NoDTMF
I don't see any sensor in the area where we mount the guards. I haven't heard of any issues.

NoDTMF
Just for follow-up, turns out my guards did fit in the original holes. I still used rivets for the front and the original screws for the rear. thus my install looks like roots57 ( even same color of the Edge)
snmjim
Great Reco guys! They look better than any I've seen so far and the install went good as well. The rears required a little strong arming but if you start with the center screw and loose fit it until the top & bottom are in all goes well. Ref Pics but pardon the dirt, due for a wash...;-) Edited October 13, 2018 by snmjim
snmjim
BTW, Also recommend drilling these drain holes: Edited October 13, 2018 by snmjim

onyxbfly
When you select sport, it will ask you if it is a sport or not just like your picture.....then you get the unfortunate message.....

EDIT: Unfortunately the eBay link is no longer valid. They have some other sets available on eBay but I would be leery of them as they do not seem like they are molded properly. Nevertheless Special_K performance/ mod thread that I linked you to is the place to sit back read and enjoy! 1004ron
@RidinDrty Could you post a link to the ones you bought. I have Ford ones on the front but they don't match the trim contours. I have 20K miles on the Atturo tires and so far happy with them - the only issue is they get flat spots in cold weather which makes them vibrate a little for the first couple of miles. Are you happy with them?

Check this out at Amazon A-Premium Mud Flaps Splash Guards Compatible with Ford Edge 2017-2020 Front and Rear Only Fit Sport Model 4-PC https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083L9NS9D/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_glt_fabc_RGF7HVY5R2Q6XGCS50NQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I have been liking the Atturo Tires as well, no issues w grip accelerating or braking, and they are a bit more quiet than the DeLintes that were on it when I bought it. Dude..... that vibrating/shimmy on cold days has been driving me crazy! I had no idea what it was! I have been looking at everything in the wheel assembly and couldn't figure it out, my tires only have 6k miles, so I didn't even consider that they could be the issue.. Thank you for that piece of information!

Not sure what photo(s) you're referring to, sorry. Does my car in the pic I posted have the trim. I can't see any difference between that and the Sport. These are really good quality made n Germany, but don't match the Sport side trim profile - see the pictures. We're moving into a new home in a week or two, so will need to drill the 6mm hole for the 4th plastic rivet after the move. Ford does not have front or rear mudflaps for the Sport, and the Ford front mudflaps I used were not a good fit as can be seen in the above photo. The front and rear set bought on Amazon are a perfect fit.
