IPOD requires USB+AUX Cable

Recommended Posts

I have a 4th generation IPOD with click wheel and the syncmyride website indicates that I need a USB+AUX cable to connect the unit and have it function properly. The have a link to keyspan.com for model UC25. Is there any other manufacturers that make a compatible cable Belkin, Monster, Apple? I am hoping to be able to go purchase one as opposed to ordering one online.

Any information that can be provided will be greatly appreciated.

Radioshack. All you need to do is use your existing iPod cable and 2.5mm phono to phono plug.

I tried just plugging my IPOD in with the existing USB cable. It was recognized and the songs all loaded in. I can listen and play and control it from the stereo. The only thing that doesn't seem to work is Playlists. I only have one, but it does not show up. Will adding the phono to phono plug help that? The only other thing is the IPOD always says "Do Not Disconnect" like it is trying to sync up. I will try a phono to phono plug to see what that does.
