EDST777
Hi, I want to ship a dynamometer key. There is a question at its choice to provide the maximum range of universal application especially on Ford EDGE. I chose a key with a range of Force of 3/8" 19-110 Hm of 365 mm http://force-tools.kz/products/38-klyuch-dinamometricheskij-19-110-hm-365mm whether it will be able to provide my basic needs, thus the moments applied to an inhaling on Ford EDGE generally are in the specified range or are wider? Thanks. Edited June 21, 2018 by EDST777
akirby
I believe you're referring what we call a torque wrench. I can't interpret those specs but generally speaking you want at least 250 Newton/Meters of torque for lug nuts and chassis bolts. 3/8" is ok. 1/2" is better for larger bolts and nuts.
EDST777
Yes it is torque wrench, but I haven't absolutely understood about the range of efforts if I have correctly understood you you recommend the tool with a range up to 250 newton for meter? akirby
Yes - that will cover lug nuts (120 - 200 newton meters) and other large suspension or brake bolts (I think). You might need to get a smaller one for very small parts but you definitely need the bigger one.
