LivingOnTheEdge247
Anyone try out this new Intake from Steeda for the 2017-2018 Ford Fusion Sport 2.7? https://www.steeda.com/steeda-fusion-twin-turbo-cold-air-kit From the images it looks like either it would fit or fit with small adjustments. I am thinking of purchasing this unit it and making it work. Thought I'd get your thoughts first. https://www.steeda.com/thumbnail.asp?file=assets/images/555-3214-1.jpg&maxx=1500&maxy=1000 https://www.steeda.com/thumbnail.asp?file=assets/images/555-3214_6_.jpg&maxx=1500&maxy=1000
037
2 members of my FB group tried it and performance was worse than factory box.
Nick Halstead
it's made by steeda, thats enough reason not to purchase it. but as 037 said, it doesn't fit and doesn't seal on the EDGE, which makes it suck in more hot air than oem does. midair
I obtained the Steeda 2.7 intake from a friend who's Fusion GT was totaled, .. never got a chance too install it. He gave it too me. I have a 2015 Sport FWD. Yes the box dont fit in stock. We cut the box away too use as a mound and took measurements, made one simple bracket. Laying up a new box from 6 oz carbon fiber & System 3 resin. Once we have it completed, we'll fit the seal up tight. Looks good, sound nice..
