UNO
I searched the webs much further than most and can't find anything about this. Just bought a 2014 Edge sport with about 36k miles. Dealer service writer says not to worry. But I have many doubts with such a highly sensitive, dangerous and high-tech device. This appears to be abnormal to me. Are the outlines on the passenger dash airbag flap/ejection port, visible to everyone? I don't recall seeing it on the other edges we looked at. Thanks for reading! enigma-2
If your talking about the passenger air bag instrument panel cover, it just pushes down and is held by clips. Should be able to just press it down flush again. Under no circumstances should you be able to see the actual airbag. Was this airbag replaced by Ford under the recall? UNO
I wasn't too worried until I changed the cabin air filter and saw the airbag was attached to the dash and thought it might be damaged. This a NV car and I'm in Phoenix so sun seems to have been the culprit. Not sure about prior repairs. Made a quick video here: I appreciate the assistance greatly! enigma-2
Honestly, just watching the video, it looks ok to me. Dealer didn't have a cow over it, probably nothing to concerned over. I'd be more concerned if the airbag hasn't been changed. (Like MINE). snort!

macbwt
It is designed to rip open when the air bag deploys thus the impression is seen.
