bamabob Posted March 17, 2018 Report Share Posted March 17, 2018 got my edge early march 2016 so this is the 3rd season of pine pollen, thought it time to change the cabin filter. Not too difficult, released the catch tabs on the glove box and then the limit link to expose the housing behind the dash. Two screws to remove, made sure to use a magnetic tip screwdriver and then open the filter housing. Filter was fairly dirty. replaced with fram fresh scent. omar302 Posted March 18, 2018 Report Share Posted March 18, 2018 With the 2011 MKX, I tried several makes and also with/without charcoal, in all cases the airflow was affected except with K&N's. This is tested using my sense of feeling & sound of blower/airflow. In other words, nothing scientific. It was really dirty, surprised really since I only have 15000 miles on the Edge.
