eagleeye 11
Have a ugly noise when closing or opening front doors. Its not the main hinges but the plastic arm in the middle of the door. Makes an embarrassing noise. Are there any rollers that slide on this plastic arm ? Tried lubricating but made the noise worse. Help plz. Not sure what to do Thanks Ron
enigma-2
Go back and spray the door stop (strap) top & bottom with silicone spray. Usually it's crud at the guide at the door that's causing the rubbing (squeek) sound.

Tenneseekid
I’m also having a low grinding type noise coming from mine I haven’t tried silicone Yet but it is leaving a chalk like substance in a grey/whiteish color.
evh
Mine was doing the exact same thing. I sprayed silicone on the top and bottom and that solved it. Door opens and closes much easier as well!
axeman_87
My 2015 Edge had the similar looking crack. It was from a rock tho. Front edge of sunroof was dinged and then spider cracked just like those pictures. Both windows did the same, the moveable and solid one. Covered under insurance claim, but yes it was close to 3000 in parts and labor.
bcultra
There was a similar post on a Facebook Edge forum that referenced this part: https://www.getoemparts.com/oem-parts/ford-door-check-at4z7823552a?origin=pla&gclid=CjwKCAjw_MnmBRAoEiwAPRRWW2Q_WmO4JL6gaqcR2gNriqEkz2rVyxOiCO5FTZz4jShgrEOJ34meqBoC_HYQAvD_BwE&fbclid=IwAR2grCS4Br3IvqPmToM6aXdgsxW6YbQlFPDMT0-T7HWMeYMoiIV76uH7ZE4 Might solve the issue.
