Robw13 Posted March 6, 2018 Report Share Posted March 6, 2018 Which brand would be a better choice on the Front Strut Mounts for my 07 FWD Edge? MC, KYB or Moog? The Moog & KYB look little different than the MC's. Also, MC or KYB for the Struts correct? And would Stock Springs still be any good with 250k on em? Not sure where you are getting information on front strut bushings. You can replace your struts and strut bearing mounts with MC parts or as I prefer I use MC strut bearing mounts and KYB Excel G struts. KYB does sell quick struts now for the Edge. The strut bearing mount will be KYB and I have no reason to believe the strut bearing mount will be any less quality than the MC parts. KYB will provide a firmer ride and IMO better handling. addisonm06 Posted March 12, 2018 Report Share Posted March 12, 2018 Recently replaced both my struts and mounts. After debating the same question, i went with motorcraft for both; very happy i did! enigma-2 Posted April 3, 2018 Report Share Posted April 3, 2018 If you go with Motorcraft, make certain you get the ones for your tire size (18" tires are different that 20" tire size).
