eagleeye 11
Hi, new to the forum and new to the Edge. I would like to ask if there is any issues with not having any protection around the wheel well lip ? I see other vehicles that have plastic protection around the wheel well. It seems that having just exposed paint that it would chip or start to peel. Is there any oem or aftermarket protection that I could purchase to add protection to this area ? Should I buy Bug guard, front mud flaps, and rear tail lift protection (vinyl I believe adhered on top of the bumper for scratching) from the dealer ? Sorry for the long winded....lol Edited March 4, 2018 by eagleeye
akirby
I’ve never seen or heard of it being a problem.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
The best protection would likely be some kind of ClearBra type film application. Mudflaps would help keep stuff off the sides of your vehicle, OEM may not be the best, I think Husky products are used by a lot of people instead. AVS bug shield for the hood is another reliable product, once you get the right bolts for it LOL.
