grantcyoung Posted February 24, 2018 Report Share Posted February 24, 2018 I just bought a used 2015 Ford Edge SEL Eco Boost for my wife and the plan was to use it for towing as well. This Ford Edge did not come with a towing hitch but we were told it has towing capability and we would just need to have it installed. There is no hurry to tow right now, but we would like to when nicer weather comes around here in Michigan. We are now at the investigative stage of getting a towing package installed. However, my wife really likes the kick feature underneath the back bumper and the gate pops open! My question for the community - is there a way to install a hitch without compromising the kick-feature? Could we have both? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
akirby Posted February 24, 2018 Report Share Posted February 24, 2018 The hidden hitch (which may no longer be available) or the same type of hitch from Curt or Draw-tite where the bars are hidden up under the bumper and all you see is the receiver works fine and does not block the kick sensor.
